A public information meeting to help local citizens learn how to navigate the proposed dog-bone roundabout will be held Tuesday, April 19, 2022 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at William A. Walton Elementary School, 4101 Courthouse Road, Prince George, VA 23875.
A public hearing was held on January 16, 2019. A meeting brochure is available.
The purpose of the project is to replace the existing, skewed intersection at Courthouse Road (Route 106) and Bull Hill Road (Route 630) with a single lane roundabout in a dog bone shape to improve both safety and operation.
The intersection provides access to Route 460 and I-295, and is part of a main route to the Fort Lee activity center. Proposed intersection improvements will reduce crashes and congestion in the area.
Completed improvements will increase safety and operations within the project limits.
