Augusta County - Public Hearing for I-81 Auxiliary Lane and Route 635 Bridge Replacement

Overview

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) welcomes you to the Public Hearing page for proposed improvements to Interstate 81 Southbound in Augusta County. The project is 0.2-miles long and extends from mile marker 221.2 to mile marker 221.0. The project includes replacement of the Route 635 (Barterbrook Road) bridge over I-81.

The public hearing is being held to provide an opportunity for any person, acting or his/her own behalf or representing a group or governing agency, to give the department comments and/or suggestions on the proposed project.

VDOT strives to ensure that all members of the community have the opportunity to participate in public decisions on transportation projects and VDOT representatives are present to discuss the project and answer your questions.

A comment sheet is included in the meeting materials and your input is encouraged. All oral and written comments received on this project will be included in a transcript for review by VDOT personnel, citizens and other interested parties.
